Since before the players’ auction for IPL 2021, all the teams want to give their favorite and young players a place in their team. For this purpose, Rajasthan Royals have so far invited two players from Jammu and Kashmir for selection trial.

Although recently state pacer Mujtaba Yusuf has returned to participate in Mumbai Indians’ trial, but Rajasthan Royals are also eyeing him for his outstanding performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

The 19-year-old Mujtaba Yusuf, who hails from Bijbehera area of South Kashmir, has also been a part of the team as a net bowler for Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL matches in the UAE but did not get a chance to play in the playing eleven.

Prior to this, Mujtaba also got a chance to participate in the junior camp of India. Apart from this, he played brilliantly by playing for the senior team of Jammu and Kashmir last season. (PTK)
