The lockdown caused by the global corona virus has disrupted normal life particularly education system. In view of this, offline teaching in schools of Kashmir division has been resumed from 2nd of March,2022. Several steps have been taken by the administration and teachers to ensure the safety of students in the schools. Obviously, this occasion was a moment of celebration as offline mode classes have been started after a long gap of two years.Now We have shifted to a fully effective offline mode of study. The educational activities of the year 2022 have been started in schools. After a long gap of two years, the boom in government and private schools has returned. With the reduction in Corona virus cases, the process of offline teaching in private and Government educational institutions have been resumed in the Kashmir Valley with the SOP,s issued for covid . After a while, the resumption of teaching in schools resulted in a wave of happiness and joy on the faces of the students. Nearly two years after the implementation of all precautionary measures, the teaching process has been started in all the schools of the valley from March 2nd. It is worth mentioning that all the educational institutions in the valley were closed in view of Corona and a series of online classes were started to continue the teaching and learning process. The influx of students in private and Government educational institutions in most of the districts of the valley has been witnessed from ist day of school, with which the prosperity of the educational institutions has accelerated. The students have been flocking to the schools while the faces of the students and teachers were happy and the teachers were welcoming the students and the guidelines were also being followed. Turning to the schools, the students also expressed their happiness and said that they are very happy that they are getting the opportunity to reach the school after a long break. He said that the process of teaching in educational institutions is going to start again which is very welcome step.
Now it is only the duty of parents to send their children to school and college as much as possible and keep an eye on them. It is noteworthy that highly capable and hardworking staff has been provided in Government institutions for the benefit of male and female students.
It has already been said that the last four years have seen excellent results in Government schools and colleges which is only the result of the hard work of the teachers. Yet most people send their children to private schools which is just a routine fashion. It is the duty of the people to look after the results of the last four years, to rely on government schools and colleges, and to send as many students as possible to Government institutions, so that the teachers may be encouraged and their efforts may not be in vain. Let me remind you again that like last year, this year also the results of all government schools are commendable in which the name of Government and private schools of Shopian district topped the list. It may be recalled that Owais Amin, a promising student of Shopian district, scored 500/500 marks and got the first position at the state level. It is our duty to persuade all the children to go to school who send their children for labour instead of going to school due to some compulsion or disability at home. We need to take care of their education so that these innocent children can earn their bread and butter easily in future.*
