Drugs and our society

By Nasir Roshan Khan
If we look at our society at this stage
means in this era what we see ? What is
the scenario of our society ? For a minute think deeply is our society being made by us or being destroyed by us?
Now let’s say what our society’s scenario is ?, It’s almost a worst scenario in this era our society is stuck in a dangerous problem which all call drug problem because most of the young generation is involved in it and they are addicted to this, only a minimum number is saved and if we will not take further steps our whole society will be destroyed and let me recall you that is it not our responsibility to change our society and to free our society from all evils .
We all know how our society is affected by drug use . According to reports drug use is directly and indirectly responsible for 11.8 million deaths each year. Smoking, alcohol and drug use is an important risk factor for early death .By the UN reports ,drug use Increased 30% In India In Last Decade ,our country is also affected by this badly .Now if we will see in our area J&K according to a report published by United Nation, Drug Control Programme (UNDCP) around 70 thousand people are drug addicts alone in the Kashmir division among them approximately 31% are women. So this toll is not getting lowed this is increasing day by day .
My dears and nears as now you all are aware of the topic which I am going to discuss ,so first and foremost step is to aware people regarding the information of drugs and for this we have to aware every person in our society about this problem, and we all have to work together to get rid of this problem, mainly we have to aware the students and younger generation to come together and work together to get rid of this problem . For doing we have to organize awareness campaigns ,online sessions , at school level and at various levels
So it is the need of hour we have to work all together with enthusiasm to get rid of this big evil from our world. We have to do every step which we take to prevent these things in our society which are slowly destroying us.
