Srinagar , August 26: Cousin brother of Shaid Rashid today left for heavenly abode after a brief spell of illness at SMHS Hospital.

According to reports Sheikh Bashir Ahamd, S/o Sheikh Gh Nabi R/o Muqaam Dadompora, Chadoora, Budgam today breathed his last at the age of 50 after battling with some ailments at SMHS Hospital, Srinagar. His COVID-19 test result has been declared Negative.

Sheikh Bashir was serving as a Patwari in revenue Department of J&K UT.

The deceased is survived by a young wife and three small children.
