FALICITATION OF BLOOD DONORS UNDER THE THEME ”GIVE BLOOD & KEEP THE WORLD BEATING”

*Srinagar 30th September* : SERVING NATIONS organized an inspiring felicitation program to honour  blood donors in collaboration with  GMC Srinagar.
Owais Mushtaq SDM Srinagar Chief Guest of the programme deliver his lecture and appreciates the donors who come forward and donates blood without any personal cause, these are the unsung heros of the nation, while as Dr Bashir Ahmad Lone administrative incharge of  VMS deliver his lecture and aware about advantages of blood donation and  appreciates all the 67 registered unpaid, unsung heroes  blood donors of the organization who give blood regularly to save lives  voluntarily. While  Dr Baldev Singh Raina CEO & MD peaks group grace the occasion with his presence and stated, I will always support such type of virtuous  initiatives as responsible member of the society, the programme was to encourage & felicitate blood donors and inspires others to come forward to save lives by donating blood.
Despite pandemic and other mobility challenges our blood donors from various districts like Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla and Bandipora etc have continued to donate blood and plasma to patients in the major government/private hospitals of the valley,  Mir Bilquees Afzal General Sercetary of the organization  said.while as Mr Syed Amjid Rizvi Vice Chiarman of the organization appreciated and thanked all the Guests, participants ,blood donors of the programme.  We all need to salute these blood donors and appreciate their selfless effort to save precious lives. This will be a step to create wider public awareness of the need for regular, unpaid blood donations which also promotes community values of blood donation in enhancing community solidarity and social cohesion, he added.
