Former MLA Bandipora Nizam-ud-din Bhat to join PC today

Srinagar, Oct 02 : Senior People’s Democratic Party leader and former MLA from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, Nizam-ud-din Bhat is likely to join the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference today in Srinagar, sources said in Saturday.
Sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Nizam-ud-din Bhat will join the People’s Conference at Imran Ansari’s Darul Jawad residence at Qamarwari today at 2 pm.
They said that in this regard PC chairman Sajad Lone will address a press conference at Imran Ansari’s residence today.
Sources said that Bhat will join the PC along with hundreds of workers from his constituency.
Bhat, who was associated with the PDP since 2003 and had unsuccessfully contested Lok Sabha elections from North Kashmir in 2004.
In 2008, he was elected as member legislative assembly of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir from Bandipora constituency on PDP ticket—(KNO)
