Indian Army JCO killed by Pakistani Sniper fire along LoC in Rajouri

Rajouri, September 02: Indian army lost a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) after Pakistani forces violated ceasefire along the Line of Control in Kesser Gela area of Tarkundi sector in Rajouri district.

According to defence sources, the incident occurred on Wednesday morning after a JCO who was deployed on a forward post along the Line of Control in Rajouri was shot with a sniper fire from Pakistani forces resulting in the injuries to this officer.

The officer was taken to a health facility for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries, the official added.
