Ishrat Ashraf, daughter of Mohamad Ashraf Malik has completed her bachelor’s degree from GDC for Women Nawakadal Srinagar Kashmir and presently student at Govt. AMT School Baramulla. She is a writer, motivational speaker, social activist, and debater. The Young female writer hails from Srinagar.
In writing field she is co author of many books like Dawning Dusks || Positivity ||Jayaz Ishq || Silent Waves || From darkness to light || Ravaged souls ||and many more. Not only in writing but also in other fields she likes to participate in various national level seminars, debates, painting, and webinars. She chooses to spread knowledge, awareness through different ways.
In addition to this  she is also a social worker, working for the betterment of society, and becomes the reason to compile her own anthology namely [SOCIETY] .In which she took  different writers and got their views about society and other things of society. She has a good family support and want to do something for the betterment of society.
She writes poems and also articles on social issues.  She has received many awards for her work, recently she received award for dedicated work for the community by Jamia Islamia Mahdul Muslimat and another award received for active participation in Covid19 awareness program by All J&K student’s movement and received many other awards for her writings and other work. She thinks that ‘we are the preciousness of this world and we must do good deeds for our society’.
Her message for young writers is that you should be ready for every challenge and criticism. And also write about anything that happens in your society. In a Message to public she said, “Parents and children should stay together like friends. Friendship relation should be created in family, so that they would not get indulged in wrong deeds”.
