Kulgam Police arrested four drug peddlers with the contraband substance at Jawahar Tunnel

*Kulgam* , July 20: In its continuous efforts against social evils, Police Party from Jawahar Tunnel, on receiving specific information established a special Naka at Jawahar Tunnel.

An official told CNS, that acting swiftly, police party stopped a vehicle bearing registration No PB02BS – 8276 searching through the vehicle a bag was found, containing around 80 grams of Heroin like substance, which was seized on the spot.

*Also, 4 Persons boarding in the vehicle namely, Kuldeep Singh S/O Krishan Singh, Sandeep Kour W/O Manjeet Singh both residents of Gunwali Amritsar Punjab, Honey Singh S/O Manjeet Singh R/O Udhanwal Gurdaspur Punjab, Paramjeet Singh S/O Manjeet Singh R/O Sultan Wind Amritsar Punjab have been Arrested and the vehicle also stands seized.*

In this connection case, FIR No.224/2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Qazigund and further investigation into the matter has been taken up.
