NEET “NOT THE END OF THE WORLD”

NEET (national eligibility cum entrance test) is a common entrance test which is held throughout India for medical courses like MBBS, BDS etc. MBBS is thought to be the most stable profession in India and mainly in KASHMIR. In Kashmir students as well as their parents prefer medical departments for themselves and their children respectively which is possible only after qualifying NEET. This has became the trend in our country and mainly in Kashmir that after qualifying 10th class examination everyone is running after science streams and mainly after medical sciences without knowing their interests, skills etc and ruin their several years behind this which is in my opinion the main reason of unemployment, stress, depression, lack of exposure therefore all these things leads to the acceleration in the graph of suicide. Here I also want to tell that parents are more responsible that children which keeps forcing their wards to do so.
If we talk about seats in medical colleges those are only 1100 approximately in J&K and the appearing candidates are 25000 to 30000 which means that around 29000 will be dropped resulting in depression, anxiety among dropped candidates because they have been tought by parents that there is no future without this. There are thousands of fields in today’s times in which students can behave as shinning stars depending on their interest and passion but the only thing they needed is their parental support. It is a well known fact that IF SOMEONE WANTS TO BE SUCCESSFUL AND HAPPY IN HIS LIFE, HE/SHE HAS TO CHOOSE THEIR CARRIER IN WHICH THEY ARE SKILLED AND FEEL INTERESTED. This is a small MANTRA of being happy.
Albert Einstein has told that “EVERY BODY IS A GENIUS. BUT IF YOU JUDGE A FISH BY ITS ABILITY TO CLIMB A TREE, IT WILL LIVE ITS WHOLE LIFE BELIEVING THAT IT IS STUPID”
At last I only wants to tell that students should follow the carrier in which they are interested not because your parents or friends are telling you to do so. Life is yours and you have to be successful so don’t ruin your life and carrier believing and listening the old age myths and nonsense criticism by some negative people which are present everywere. Only focus on your goal and keep going. When you will be successful they will be the first to congratulate you who were criticizing you at its initial stage so don’t pay heed to them.
